Our motto is to improve women's lives, one bra at a time. We offer a carefully curated selection of lingerie brands in a wide range of sizes to meet everyone's needs, including bras, panties, sleepwear, loungewear, shapewear, bathing suits, and accessories. Our excellent sales associates have undergone extensive bra and mastectomy fitting training, enabling them to expertly fit women and assist them in building their lingerie wardrobe.
Karen and Eddie are both dedicated to making every Linea Intima location the best it can be, and they are excited about the future of the company.
Linea Intima Milestones:
1997 | Linea Intima was founded in Toronto, by Liliana Mann. In February, we opened our first Linea Intima store in Richview Plaza, Etobicoke. |
1999 | In November, we opened our second Linea Intima store on Avenue Road in Toronto. |
2000 | Our first printed Newsletter debuted. |
2001 | We proudly introduced our mastectomy bra-fitting service. In October, we launched our first Breast Cancer support program. |
2002 | We launched our first website. |
2004 | We opened our first shopping centre location in Bayview Village, North York. It is now our flagship location. |
2005 | We hosted our first Get a Lift, Give a Lift event in support of local women’s shelters. |
2006 | In April, we opened our fourth store on the quaint main street of Unionville. |
2008 | In September, we took our first step outside of the GTA and opened in London Ontario’s Richmond Row shopping district. |
2009 | Owner, Liliana Mann’s, first appearance on CBC’s Steven and Chris show. In August, we gave our Avenue Road store a facelift. In September, our Linea Intima Head Office was expanded. |
2010 | We rebranded our look - updating our corporate icon colour from peach to fuchsia pink, changing our tagline to Lingerie, Luxury, Love and giving our iconic bustier logo a fresh, new makeover. Our flagship Bayview Village store was renovated to reflect our rebranding and contemporary new image. |
2011 | Linea Intima is nominated for The Best of Intima magazine, ‘Best Shop Awards.’ In June, we launched a strategic alliance with Andrews, one of Canada’s leading fashion retailers, and opened our first downtown Toronto store, a shop-within-a-shop boutique in Andrews, Hazelton Lanes. In July, we opened our seventh store in charming downtown Oakville. In October, our updated and user-friendly new Linea Intima website was relaunched, including the premiere of owner Liliana Mann’s lingerie blog. |
2012 | Linea Intima will celebrate its 15th anniversary. |
2013 | Our flagship Bayview Village store has a new home in the mall and a hot new look, including a sexy shop-in-shop concept, for our new younger Elle Aime brand. |
2014 | We closed our Andrews and Unionville stores. We launched a strategic alliance with Toni+, one of Canada’s leading plus size fashion retailer, and opened a shop-within-a-shop boutique in Toni+ Sherway Gardens. We won the Best Reference Store in North America at the annual Intima Magazine awards banquet. Finally closing out a busy year, we launched our ecommerce website so now customers can shop their favorite brands online. 2019 - 2022 | During the COVID-19 pandemic, two stores were closed - our first store at Richview Plaza and the store located in London, Ontario. |
2023 | In July Liliana announced the sale of the business to her longtime friend and employee, Karen Capocci, who served as Linea Intima's Financial Director for 26 years. Karen and her husband, Eddie Capocci, have taken on the responsibility of continuing the legacy that Liliana and her husband, Yehuda, built. Liliana remains involved as a mentor, while the day-to-day business is now managed by the Capocci’s |
