Caring for Your Lingerie

“Love your lingerie. Treat them well and they will treat you well!”

The following tips will keep delicate undergarments looking newer, longer.

  • Wash bras after every other wear.
  • Hand wash delicates using gentle detergent such as Eucalan or Forever New.
  • If you must wash in a machine, turn delicates inside-out and fasten clasps. Always use a lingerie bag.
  • Hang to dry. Never put lingerie in the dryer.
  • Always fold bras and panties carefully, don't crush them.
  • Stack molded bras in your drawer, to avoid ripples in your cups. Never fold the bra cups inwards.

Lili shows us how to lengthen the life of our bras and other delicate lingerie - washing them by hand. Washing your bras (and other lingerie) the proper way will help keep them looking new, for longer.

HOW TO WASH YOUR BRAS:

  1. Wash your bras by hand, every other wear using a small amount of lingerie wash. If washing one bra, you can use a large bowl filled halfway with lukewarm water and a small amount of lingerie wash. Make sure the wash you use is thoroughly mixed and diluted in the water.
  2. Submerge your bra for just a few minutes. Lingerie washes are specially formulated to remove our body oils and any dirt, without damaging the delicate fabrics and lace (there is no need for harsh scrubbing, just let it soak for a little).
  3. Rinse in clean water
  4. Let drip dry or lay flat
  5. Remember not to fold your molded bras, it could damage the shape

Inventory Control

At the beginning of each season taking inventory of your lingerie drawers is well worth the time. Discard old, worn-out styles, that don’t fit properly and the ones you don’t love anymore. (They only take up precious drawer space). Remember to donate your gently used bras!

How to Use: The rapid multiplication of bacteria and their breaking down of sweat into acids can cause unpleasant smells on our bodies which can linger on our lingerie. It is so important to properly wash your lingerie so it does not trap odours.

  • Hand Wash: Use 1/2-1 tablespoon of powder per load. Soak up to 5 minutes. Rinse well.
  • High Efficiency: Use 1/8 cup (1/2 scoop) for regular loads and 1/4 cup (1 scoop) for larger loads.
  • Top Loader: Use 1/4 cup (1 scoop) for regular loads and 1/2 cup (2 scoops) for larger loads.

Ingredients: Sodium Citrate (natural water softener), Tetra-sodium iminodisuccinate (water conditioner), Nonionic and Anionic surfactants (plant derived cleansers), Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda). Forever New is never formulated with parabens, phthalates & dyes, and is never tested on animals.

We offer FREE SHIPPING within Ontario on all orders over $150. All other orders will be charged a $15* flat rate.

There is a $45* flat rate fee for all orders to the United States. (Local duties and taxes may apply). This shipping rate may be subject to additional fees, based on the weight and size of the shipment.

All shipments are delivered by Canada Post and will require a signature upon delivery. A signature upon delivery ensures the package has been accepted by someone at your address. 3. After you have been provided a Return Authorization #, you will be responsible for the costs of shipping the item(s) back to us.

Once we receive the item(s) at our Head Office [with all the tag(s) still attached and in unworn and unwashed condition], we will process a refund for the returned unit(s), less a 15% restocking fee to your original form of payment, within 2-5 business days. 

OR

Once we receive the item(s) at our Head Office [with all the tag(s) still attached and in unworn and unwashed condition], we will provide you with an online credit note for the full amount. The online credit note is non-transferable, has no cash value and can ONLY be used toward online orders; and will be valid for 6 months after the date of issue. You should receive the online credit note to your email address within 2-5 business days of us receiving your return.

In the event you would like to exchange (a regular-priced, in-stock and non-gusseted item) for a different size or style, the restocking fee does not apply.
